GRAND RAPIDS The city of Grand Rapids approved tax incentives for a pair of planned developments that would increase the city's attainable housing stock.
A brownfield plan for the City Club Apartments Midtown project which includes the small-footprint Target at Mack and Woodward avenues, plus 344 residential units across multiple buildings says construction is expected to begin in December and wrap up in late 2024.
The Michigan Strategic Fund board approved a 24-year award on Tuesday morning for the Coda project, proposed for 2827 John R St. at Alfred Street, in the rapidly redeveloping neighborhood north of downtown.
