Geneva: The United Nations presented the 2020 Best Negotiator Award to Special Envoy of the Minister of Foreign Affairs for Counterterrorism and Mediation in Conflict Resolution H E Dr. Mutlaq bin Majed Al Qahtani, in recognition of his role and efforts in settling disputes and establishing peace in the region and the world.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Mutlaq bin Majed Al Qahtani extended thanks to the organisers of this important event and expressed delight and pride in receiving this prestigious award as the Best Negotiator of the year 2020.
In yet another prestigious honor for Qatar, His Excellency Special Envoy to the country’s Minister of Foreign Affairs for Counterterrorism and Mediation in Conflict Resolution has been presented with the 2020 Best Negotiator Award by the United Nations.
Dr Mutlaq bin Majed Al Qahtani received the honor in recognition of his role and efforts in peacemaking and settling disputes in the region and around the world.
The Qatari official expressed his gratitude and pride in becoming the recipient of the esteemed accolade.
HE Dr Al Qahtani recognized the support from Qatar’s wise leadership and the working group and noted that the award adds to Qatar’s successes in the area of mediation and conflict resolution.
