The month-long Kota Kinabalu International Airport (KKIA) Ramadan Expo 2022 is expected to provide opportunities to local small traders to generate income, said Industrial Development Assistant Minister Mohd Tamin Zainal.
“This was launched in conjunction with the Ramadan month and it is hoped that it will help traders market their products, including food items. The response was very good so far.
“Besides that, we also want to help the traders to resume business after the last two years as they had to close their business due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
“A total of 32 stalls have been set up and I see there are still some who have not started business yet but it is understood that they will all start on Sunday in conjunction with the first day of Ramadan this year,”
