The entire world has been speculating about the reason for the United States Navy declaring a "navigation stand down" for its submarine force on Thursday.
Navy Vice Adm. Karl Thomas, the commander of the 7th Fleet, relieved Cmdr. Cameron Aljilani of his command of the submarine and removed Lt. Cmdr. Patrick Cashin and Master Chief Petty Officer Cory Rodgers from their duties as the vessel’s executive officer and chief, respectively, according to a Navy statement.
Washington should elaborate further on a submarine incident in the South China Sea in order to fully respond to the concerns and misgivings of countries in the region, Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin said on Tuesday, urging the United States to stop undermining the sovereignty and security of other countries.
