Im going to speak about what the Electoral College is. President y to become you have to win a majority of the total Electoral College votes. If no one gets a majority, and vetotremely undemocratic of the constitution, every state would get one vote in a runoff. You may be surprised to learn that the constitution does not require that people vote for president. It does not limit the ways states can choose their electors. State legislatures have complete authority to choose electors in a way that they see fit. For the last century and a half that has met separately in each state.
