Correspondent Kenneth Craig has the latest developments. Protests spiraled into violence for the second straight night in charlotte. Vandals smashed windows and looted businesses. One person in the crowd was shot. Hes now in critical condition. Police use tear gas and use splash grenades as officers try to clear the streets, at least four officers were also hurt. We made total of 44 arrests, charges range from to disperse, to assault, to breaking and entering. Violence prompted several Major Companies in Downtown Charlotte including bank of america, and wells fargo, to tell their employees to stay home for the day, and avoid the area. In fact, this morning it was a little chilly out there. We are looking right now at still those dark skies but its also a dry sky, we are not tracking any rain.
