President Bola Tinubu has said that he is aware that more than 24million Nigerians are in need of eye health services, while pledging that his government would partner with relevant stakeholders to provide the service. Tinubu according to a release from the presidency, signed by Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, stated this on Friday, adding that his administration in Lagos in 2001 provided free eye screenings and surgeries to Lagosians while setting a new precedent for proactive eye care initiatives in West Africa.
