More than 200 of Hillsborough Countyâs top high school seniors from 35 public and private schools accepted an invitation to share their accomplishments and take part in an essay contest through the 2021 R.F. âRedâ Pittman Tribune Scholars program. JERSEY SHORE The Business and Professional Women’s Club Girl of the Month for December is Shaye Elisabeth Fries, daughter of Lisa Fries of Williamsport, Pa.
Shaye’s activities include the following: For one year: class committee, the school musical, Upward Bound and prom committee For two years: Model UN and Renaissance Club For three years: Homecoming Committee, Constitutional Convention and Key Club For four years: FBLA, National English Honors Society and National Spanish Honors Society
Shaye has served as the Treasurer for the 9th grade class, along with being the Treasurer for the 9th grade FBLA. She has also served as the Vice-President for the Constitutional Convention during her junior year and is a Dance Team Captain. Srija Chereddy named Student of the Month
Emerson House is proud to announce Srija Chereddy, daughter of Mr. Srinivasulu Chereddy and Ms. Sreedevi Chereddy as Student of the Month for September. Srija is currently enrolled in a variety of rigorous courses, including four Advanced Placement classes. These Advanced Placement courses include Literature, Computer Science, Statistics, and Chemistry. Additionally, Srija is taking Multivariable Calculus and Linear Algebra through a local college. As a junior, Srija earned the prestigious honor of being named an Emerson House Class Marshal, leading the class of 2020 into their graduation ceremony.
