This Saturday (20), at 4:00 pm BRT, São Paulo’s Esporte Clube Sírio will hold a lecture on 25 de março, the street in which Arab immigrants opened shops when arrived in Brazil.
The Library of Lebanese university USEK has established cooperation with the Moise Khayrallah Center in the United States. Through it, a digital collection of journals and newspapers published by Arab immigrants in Latin America will be processed with OCR technology, facilitating research.
In an event hosted by the Arab Brazilian Chamber at Expo 2020 Dubai this Sunday (27), Arab and Brazilian authorities spoke about the migratory ties uniting the regions. Arabs were able to get to know a new face of Brazil, in addition to the commercial one.
