New information in an unsolved murder from last year. A little more than a year ago javier ortiz was working on a vehicle in a parking lot near los feliz and carey. Police say two people on a threewheel motorcyle drove by and someone standing nearby fire shots at them. Ortiz was hit by the gunfire and killed. His brother and one of the people on the motorcyle were hit and injured. On saturday officers and volunteers will canvas the area with flyers and talk to neighbors to try and identify the suspect.
