“Acknowledging that coordinated efforts are crucial to ensure holistic preventive measures for corruption, Malaysia has roped in various key stakeholders as lead agencies to implement the initiatives under the NACP, ” he said on Wednesday (May 19) in a keynote address at an event organised by the World Bank.
The NACP, which was launched by then prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad in January 2019, aims to make Malaysia a corruption-free nation by 2023.
At the online launch of the “Enhancing Government Effectiveness and Transparency: The Fight Against Corruption” report, Azam said NACP s vision was to create a corruption-free nation through three specific goals.
