Will hiding likes on Instagram and Facebook improve users mental health? This is what experts are saying By The Washington Post By Allyson Chiu Facebook is touting its latest feature, which will allow Facebook and Instagram users to hide like counts on posts, as a move that aims to depressurize people s experiences on its platforms. The change comes amid ongoing concern about the potentially harmful mental health effects of social media. A LOOK BACK: Sleepy Eye's 2018 state tournament run | News, Sports, Jobs

jbehnke@nujournal.com Sleepy Eye’s Carter Brinkman slides into third base in the Class A semifinals on Friday, June 15, 2018 in Chaska. SLEEPY EYE Heading into the 2018 high school baseball season, the Sleepy Eye Indians had high expectations for a team that was senior-heavy. The Indians won the Tomahawk Conference title that year after they went 18-6 overall and 6-1 in the conference. But the conference title didn’t seem to mean much when section seedings came out and the Indians had to prove themselves yet again. The Indians, who drew the No. 7 seed for the Section 2A playoffs, had to win a couple of road games in the playoffs before eventually winning the section title, the school’s first since the 2000 season. And they kept that momentum going, finishing second at the Class A state tournament.
