About 2 miles of new trails in East Helena will officially reopen to the public Saturday, National Trails Day, when Prickly Pear Land Trust unveils its latest project.
An administrative meeting will be held at the City/County Building on Wednesday to discuss the relocation of sections of a couple of widely used trails on Mt. Ascension.

The trails are located on 72 acres that Prickly Pear Land Trust purchased from the estate of the late William Whyte Jr. and donated to the city of Helena.
