JU issues guidelines to conduct BE, B.Tech, B.Ed exams to save academic year of students

JAMMU, May 8: As one-time exception due to the prevailing COVID pandemic situation, the University of Jammu authorities have declared to conduct the End Semester external examinations through online mode for the students of BE/ B. Tech/ B. Architecture, besides B.Ed course regular and as well private candidates.
The University sources told the Excelsior that the Google classrooms shall be created for different branches and class code will be shared with the candidates through e-mail or other means. The candidates will have to join the relevant Google classrooms with their mail-IDs and University Registration number. The attendance form, followed by the Link to the Question Paper shall be posted on the classrooms, the sources added.

Delivering the keynote address on the occasion of ‘National Science Day’ in the University of Jammu, Dr. Jitendra Singh said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in the last few years, Government has taken some revolutionary and programatic decisions to give fillip to indegenous scientific innovations which will be a key to “Atma Nirbhar Bharat”.

In a landmark decision, University of Jammu inked Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Racemix Molecules Pvt. Ltd, Gurugram, Haryana, India (A subsidiary of Anphar Laboratories Pvt. Ltd., Jammu). Anphar Laboratories Pvt Ltd. is engaged in the manufacturing and export of bulk drugs. JU created Industry Academia Partnership Centre (IAPC) under RUSA 2.0 to build industry-academia partnership and to inculcate industry based skills in the students and researchers of the University. For realizing these objectives, JU has entered into collaboration with Racemix; the latter will provide skill based training at JU and its affiliated colleges.
