Deputy Prime Minister Trần Hồng Hà received outgoing Chief Representative of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Việt Nam Office Shimizu Akira in Hà Nội on Monday.
They agreed to increase mutual visits at all levels, effectively carry out bilateral cooperation mechanisms, and fruitfully implement the EU - Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA) to raise bilateral trade to US$5 billion.
The discussion with leaders of global enterprises was an event the WEF held specifically for Việt Nam at this year’s meeting. It attracted around 20 executives of WEF member businesses operating in the fields of energy, green technology, and finance-banking.
Guterres appreciated Việt Nam’s active and responsible contributions to the common affairs of the largest global organisation in recent years, hoping that the country will promote its role and contribute more to addressing global issues.
