A delegation led by Commander of the Naval Forces of Azerbaijan, Rear Admiral Subhan Bakirov is on a visit to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan told AZERTAC.
Prospects for the development of cooperation between the Naval Forces of the two countries were discussed at the meeting held between the Chief of the Naval Staff of Pakistan, Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi, and the Commander of the Naval Forces of Azerbaijan, Rear Admiral Subhan Bakirov.
Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi congratulated the Azerbaijani people on the victory in the Patriotic War and ensuring the territorial integrity of the country, wished the mercy of Allah Almighty to the souls of all servicemen and civilians who died as Shehids and healing to the wounded.
The 13th meeting of the Azerbaijani-Turkish High-Level Military Dialogue has got underway in Baku.
The meeting discusses the current state of bilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey in the security, military, military-technical, military-medical, military-educational, defense industry, and in other spheres, as well as considers the prospects for development and the main areas of activity in the military and defense spheres.
The co-chairman of the meeting from the Azerbaijani side is Deputy Minister of Defense Lieutenant General Karim Valiyev, and from the Turkish side is the Second Chief of the General Staff Corps General Selcuk Bayraktaroghly.
