It is a tour started on a bad note by Ntopwa Football Club (The Amagetto Kids) in the northern region as they were silenced with a 1-2 loss at the hands of hosts Mzuzu Warriors on Saturday at Mzuzu Stadium in the TNM Super League.
Both sides were coming into this encounter after a string of miserable losses with the Warriors conspicuously at the very bottom of the log table.
The win by Mzuzu Warriors on Saturday is so significant as it has magically lifted them from bottom of the table to position 15 with 10 points now, from a total of 13 games. Mighty Tigers are now at the bottom with 9 points, also from 13 games but they face in form Silver Strikers this Sunday.

Ntopwa FC, owned and managed by Osman Jomo, have painted a groomy picture of their trip to the North where they are scheduled to play two games in the TNM Super League this weekend.
The Amaghetto, from the populous Bangwe Township, are expected to play Ekwendeni Hammers and Mzuzu Warriors at the Mzuzu Stadium but Jomo told the media on Thursday that their trip is doubtful due to financial problems.

“We are talking of sourcing up to K1.8 million for the two Mzuzu fixtures and to be honest with you, l don’t even have such kind of money as of today. We will need food, accommodation, fuel and a bus,” Osman said.
Moyale Barracks Football Club has become the reigning king in the city of Mzuzu after winning two first round TNM Super League derby matches against Ekwendeni Hammers 3-2 on April 10 and Mzuzu Warriors last Saturday 1-0.
Playing on a muddy pitch on Saturday, it took time for both teams to settle down but the soldiers settled earlier than the warriors.

The civil servants storm Blantyre after a break last weekend as they did not have any match. They were in Blantyre two weeks ago when they drew 1-1 against Mighty Tigers on Saturday, April 10 before thumping Ntopwa Football Club 4 nil on Sunday, April 11.
The second positioned side will be meeting the Bullets who are third on the log at their own backyard and it is for this reason that Ndawa believes the match will be a cracker.
