A MAN who saved his brother s life by donating bone marrow is now offering his hair to help provide wigs for cancer sufferers and raise money to support them. Lewis Gudger, 30, from Northallerton has been growing his hair for five years specially to donate to the cause, and is facing the big chop this weekend. The hair will be donated to the Little Princess Trust, which provides real hair to make wigs free of charge to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment. He is hoping to raise more than £1,000 for Alike, an app offering peer support for young people facing cancer diagnosis and treatment, which was invented by his brother Brad. He had chronic Myeloid Leukaemia twice before he was 25, and Lewis donated bone marrow to help save him.
