Demonstrators have returned to the streets of Myanmar s cities, after police shot two people dead in nighttime protests against military rule. More than 70 protesters have been killed since the army took control in February.

More protests in Myanmar after deadly shootings
Anti-coup protesters in Myanmar were back on the streets a day after a call for a general strike closed businesses and brought out huge numbers of demonstrators. In Mandalay, a funeral was held for 37-year-old Thet Naing Win, one of at least three protesters shot dead by security forces.
