A man has been charged in connection with the fatal shooting of six people, including five small children, in Oklahoma earlier this week as new details emerge in the case, according to officials and reports.
Police have arrested Jarron Deajon Pridgeon, 25, on the charge of first-degree murder for allegedly gunning down the six victims, including children ages 1, 3, 5, 6 and 9, police said. The adult victim, 24-year-old Javarion Lee, is allegedly Pridgeon’s brother.
Raven Anderson, who is an aunt to the children, told Tulsa TV station KOTV that Pridgeon was the father of three of the slain children. Police Officer Lynn Hamlin said the suspect and victims all lived in the home.

We regret to inform our Muskogee Public Schools community that two members of our student family at Creek Elementary passed away overnight. Another Creek student was injured in the overnight incident.
Muskogee Public Schools was first made aware of the situation early this morning and immediately made arrangements for additional counseling services at Creek Elementary.
The following letter is from Steve Braun, Muskogee Public Schools spokesman:
Our Crisis Team is working with Green Country Behavioral Health to provide grief counseling which will continue throughout the remainder of this week. We encourage any of those students or staff members directly impacted by this incident to seek these services.
Muskogee native Starr Fisher recalled how her late uncle, Apostle Lathon Archie, served his community. He had the mind and the heart to give, she said. He was a servant in every capacity of the word.
Archie, founder and pastor of Faith Deliverance Christian Center, died in 2015. Archie established such programs as Royal Instructional School of Excellence, Precious Little Angels Childcare and Students Taking a New Direction (STAND).
Fisher, who now operates Manhattan Catering in Tulsa, said she wants to honor her uncle by hosting the Lathon Archie Memorial Holiday Give-A-Way 6 p.m. Christmas Eve at Archie s former church. The objective is to feed folks and give those kids toys, she said. If people are hungry and need help with groceries or things, we re also going to have bags for people who show up.
