Six more die at Nishtar Hospital National April 29, 2021 MULTAN: Six more coronavirus patients died at Nishtar Hospital, Multan, during the last 24 hours. According to Nishtar Hospital officials, Naziran Bibi, 60, Najma Bibi, 74, Javed Akhtar, 56 and Musarat Bibi, 25, all of Multan, Shamim Bibi, 45, of Khanewal and Zareena Kosar, 55, of Lodhran. Reportedly, 278 coronavirus patients are getting treatment at Nishtar Hospital. According to hospital statistics, some 138 coronavirus patients had died at Nishtar Hospital during the last 27 days. The hospitals in Multan division are waiting the reports of coronavirus tests of 10, 296 people. In Multan district some 192 people were tested positive out of 1,161 people and reports of 5, 068 people were being awaited.

Man ‘strangles wife to death’ in Dijkot Suspect allegedly throttled her while she was sleeping File DIJKOT: A man allegedly strangled his wife to death over a domestic dispute in Dijkot on Saturday. Reportedly, the , Abdul Sattar, a resident of Chak No 256 RB, was married to 22-yearold Musarat Bibi, a resident of the village, four years ago. The couple has three children and they used to engage in frequent fights over petty issues. Police said after their recent quarrel, Abdul Sattar strangled his wife Musarat Bibi to death while she was sleeping and then he escaped the crime scene. Upon information, police reached the spot and shifted the body to a hospital for autopsy. The body was handed over to the family members after completion of the legal formalities.

A grandmother, mother and daughter all died in Royal Blackburn Hospital in early November 2020 and all three burials were conducted within five days of one another. On the morning of November 6 grandmother, Musarat Bibi, 88, was admitted to hospital and died later that night. Earlier that week on 2 November 26-year-old Nafisa Ahmed had been admitted to hospital and she died on November 11.
