Steve Toombs and Melinda Tate Retire From Murfreesboro Parks & Rec.

(MURFREESBORO)  Two long-term employees of Murfreesboro Parks and Recreation Department retired on Monday (7/3/2023).  Steve Toombs ended his career after 42-years, and Melinda Tate retires after a dozen. Canaan Smith to Headline "Celebration Under the Stars" July 4th Show

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The City of Murfreesboro’s “Celebration Under the Stars,” presented by Middle Tennessee Electric (MTE), will be held Tuesday, July 4, 2023, at the Fountains at Gateway, 1500 Medical Center Parkway.
