Bronson maintains his mayoral runoff lead
Preliminary runoff results updated Wednesday by the Anchorage Municipal Clerk’s Office show mayoral candidate Dave Bronson is still in the lead with 45,639 votes.
With 90,190 votes tallied, Bronson is ahead by 1,221 votes. He and candidate Forrest Dunbar are separated by a 1.36% margin. That’s over the threshold for an automatic recount Anchorage city code requires an automatic recount if a candidate wins by a margin of less than 0.5%.

Bronson maintains his lead over Dunbar in mayoral runoff
Updated preliminary runoff results released Thursday show mayoral candidate Dave Bronson maintaining his lead in the race against candidate Forrest Dunbar.
Election results updated by election officials show Bronson ahead by 1,200 votes, or a margin of 1.32%. With 90,627 ballots counted so far, Bronson has garnered 45,847 votes compared to Dunbar’s 44,647.

Bronson ‘encouraged’ by Friday’s updated results
Anchorage mayoral candidate Dave Bronson stopped just short of a statement of victory Friday evening as he reacted to updated runoff election results showing him in the lead by more than 1,000 votes.
“We are encouraged by tonight’s results,” Bronson said through his campaign manager, Brice Wilbanks, who sent an email to Alaska’s News Source. “It is clear that Anchorage is moving in a new direction.”

Latest results show Bronson slightly ahead of Dunbar
The runoff race for Anchorage mayor is still neck and neck, with updated preliminary results on Wednesday showing candidate Dave Bronson pulling slightly ahead of Forrest Dunbar.
Dunbar, a member of the Anchorage Assembly, had a slim lead of 114 votes in the race when initial preliminary results were released Tuesday night. Wednesday’s results show Bronson, a retired military and commercial pilot, is now ahead by 278 votes.
