Council has awarded a more than $113,000 contract for the installation of new playground equipment at Olmsted Beach on Trout Lake.
The contract, valued at $113,684.89, plus HST, was awarded to Park N Play Design Company Ltd. Tuesday night.

The company received the highest score of six proposals evaluated by the city.
Coun. Chris Mayne, who chairs council’s infrastructure and operations committee, said Olmsted Beach serves as a destination playground, with the new equipment helping to “increase its value as a family friendly asset in our community.”
