On Monday, the coastal districts of Maharashtra, including some parts of Mumbai, were hit by the cyclone Tauktae. It led to heavy rains, strong winds, fallen trees and power cuts. While the cyclone has receded, many areas of Mumbai continue to be affected by it, Actor-turned-filmmaker Pooja Bhatt addressed the issue, taking to her official Twitter handle.

Mumbai: As per a report submitted by the Maharashtra Cyber Cell to the Home Minister, there were several attempts to login or hack into the Maharashtra Power Department infrastructure from IP addresses blacklisted by international internet rating agencies. The IP addresses are said to be originating from outside Indian shores and some of these hacking attempts were successful.
