Court extends interim bail of PML-N s Mian Javed Latif till April 27
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Sessions court in Lahore has extended interim bail of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Mian Javed Latif till April 27 in a case registered against him on charges of inciting people against state institutions.
The court has also accepted the plea of PML-N leader seeking exemption from the hearing after testing positive for coronavirus and adjourned the proceedings.
Earlier, the Lahore High Court (LHC), while hearing Mian Javed Latif’s plea seeking dismissal of case, had stressed that no relief will be given to the person who speaks against Pakistan.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – The Lahore High Court (LHC), while hearing Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Mian Javed Latif’s plea seeking dismissal of case lodged against him, Saturday stressed that no relief will be given to the person who speaks against Pakistan.
Justice Muhammad Qasim Khan reprimanded Javed Latif and said in his remarks that the PML-N leader should leave Pakistan and take nationality of any other country. The parliamentarians should do self-accountability, he affirmed.
The LHC chief justice said those who will not raise the slogan of Pakistan khappay (long live Pakistan) will be crushed by people like ants. He said no one can dare to give anti-Pakistan statement.

A five-year audit of all private law colleges has been ordered by Lahore High Court (LHC) Chief Justice (CJ) Muhammad Qasim Khan, on Wednesday, after it was determined that law colleges were giving LLB admissions to students who had failed to complete their BA degrees.
While the court was in session, Petitions were heard by the chief justice pertaining to the legitimacy of degrees of various present and previous representatives of the Bar Association.
The legal advisor to the Punjab University, Advocate Malik Muhammad Awais Khan informed the court that the degrees of Advocate Ali Ahsan Rana (who was also the ex-president of the Tax Bar Association), and Advocate Irfan Ahmed (also the vice-president of the Lahore Bar Association Cantt) were found to be fake.
