Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin, the current leader of Dawoodi Bohra community, had challenged before the high court the orders of the Divisional Waqf Board of Pune Division and the civic body.
A single judge bench of Justice GS Patel stated that whenever the order is pronounced, along with the judgment, he will release a note containing notes from both sides.
Justice Gautam S Patel has been hearing the suit for final disposal since November last year. In 2014, the 52nd Dai-al-Mutlaq, Syedna Mohammad Burhanuddin, passed away, and his son, Mufaddal Saifuddin, succeeded him. This was challenged by Syedna's half-brother, Khuzaima Qutbuddin, in the HC.
