Court quashes murder sentences for two men jailed over death of Offaly grandfather
James Davey (30) and Mathew Cummins (27) made applications to the Court of Appeal in May to have their convictions for the savage murder of Thomas Toddy Dooley overturned and substituted with convictions for impeding the apprehension or prosecution of a person.
