The Congress party has released its second list of candidates for the Madhya Pradesh assembly election. The selection process was influenced by social and regional factors, and some seats were given to recent defectors from the BJP. Former chief minister Kailash Joshi s son, Deepak Joshi, and another recent BJP entrant, Bharvar Singh Shekhawat, were among those given tickets. However, Virendra Raghuvanshi, who had crossed over from the BJP, was denied a ticket despite protests.
