A Kentucky man is suspected of shooting his girlfriend to death the same day he had purchased her a ring he planned to give her at Christmas.
Moustapha Ibra Ka, 23, is facing charges of second-degree manslaughter, tampering with physical evidence and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon in connection with the death of his girlfriend Alyssa Murray, according to a statement from the Vista Hills Police Department.
Commonwealth’s Attorney Rob Sanders said authorities charged Ka with manslaughter because the evidence to-date suggests that the “shooting of Murray was not intentional.”
