UPDATE 12.30PM: Remote rescue crews are moving in at Mount Beerwah, in a bid to help guide three climbers down off the eastern side of the popular peak. A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokeswoman said no injuries had been reported by the trio, but paramedics were also on scene waiting to assess the climbers once they were brought down off the mountain. The trio called for help about 10.20am, sparking the rescue.
EARLIER: A rescue is in progress in the Glasshouse Mountains. About 10.20am calls for help were made by climbers on Mount Beerwah, with firefighters headed to the scene this morning.
