Mr Sholanke had applied to Wiltshire Council for a change of use of offices at 1 Langley Road into a home. In rejecting the bid, Wiltshire Council’s planning officers wrote: “The information submitted in support of the application indicates that noise from the adjacent commercial premises would have a significant adverse impact upon future occupiers of the development.
