For the last two weeks, Inyo National Forest fire personnel along with supporting resources from neighboring forests have completed approximately 400 acres of prescribed fire operations on the Mono Lake Ranger District to improve ecosystem health and reduce hazardous fuels. They plan to continue operations for the next several weeks on this district (Mono Lake), Mammoth, and White Mountain Ranger Districts, provided the units stay in prescription and staffing continue.
