The festival in Muskegon includes a “Celtic canines” dog show, Irish dancing lessons, Irish food, traditional Irish crafting lessons, a gift and apparel market and a children’s zone for the wee ones.
Two of the five current MAISD Board of Education members have seats that will expire on June 30, 2023, so the district is asking candidates to apply by the May 8 deadline.
From the inception of the JV girls division by the Michigan High School Powerlifting Association (MHSPLA) in 2018, Central Montcalm has been a powerhouse. The Green Hornets girls JV team won the first three MHSPLA state championships in 2018, 2019 and 2020. The Hornets did not participate in the 2021 tournament due to COVID-19 and finished second in the 2022 tournament.
