AUDUBON â The nomination process for Audubonâs Citizen and Junior Citizen of the Year is underway along with their Live Large Audubon award.
Chamber Director Molly Armentrout says the deadline is January 8th to nominate a deserving individual. âAll you have to do to nominate someone is send the chamber a letter of nomination with their name and qualifications of the person that they are nominating.â
Nominations can be e-mailed to audchmbr@iowatelecom.net or sent in a letter to 421 South Park Place in Audubon. “Citizen and Junior Citizen of the Year are someone that maybe stuck out to you that you notice in the community goes above and beyond. For Junior Citizen of the Year the person needs to be 19 or under and still in high school. The Live Large award is something they came up with last year and it’s either a business or an organization that has gone above and beyond for the community.”
