Iowa Police Searching For Suspects In Hit-And-Run Double Fatality A fatal Tuesday evening accident in central Iowa continues to be under investigation as authorities search for leads on multiple people that left the scene of the accident on foot. Des Moines Police Sergeant Paul Parizek told We Are Iowa Local 5 News that emergency personnel and police were called to the corner of East 14th Street and Washington at approximately 8:30 p.m. Tuesday night, May 4. At the intersection of East 14th and Washington, two motorcycles and a Mercedez Benz were involved in an accident. There were a total of three people on the two motorcycles, with two killed and one seriously injured. KETV reports that multiple persons got out of the crashed Mercedes Benz and ran from the scene.
