THE Sabah Legislative Assembly (DUN) on May 25 passed a Bill to amend the State Constitution that will not only prevent elected assemblymen from switching party but also allow any of them to be appointed Chief Minister if the person commands the majority support.

KOTA KINABALU: Parti Warisan (Warisan) has proposed for a special committee be set up at the state level that functions like a Parliamentary Select Committee to review Article 6 (7) of the Sabah State Constitution to ensure that the process of selecting a Chief Minister was more orderly and clear.
