JOHOR BARU: A Malaysian Pineapple Industry Board assistant economic affairs officer has claimed trial to four charges of falsifying documents in relation to pineapple seed orders amounting to RM41,025.
The accused, Hasren Amat Sibani, pleaded not guilty when the charges were read to him in front of judge Datuk Ahmad Kamal Ariffin Ismail at the Johor Baru Sessions Court here on Sunday (July 25).
He was accused of deceiving the board through the order document for the supply of pineapple seeds which contained false information, where the seeds were not supplied as claimed.
He was accused of committing the offence between April and December 2015 at the board s Pontian office.
