Ariel Hutchins, recent winner of the 2021 Future Faces of Texas Country Music, will perform Saturday evening at Mulligans, starting at 8.
Born in Abilene and raised here before moving to Cross Plains, where she graduated from high school, Htuchins performed at the awards show with 2020 Abilene visitors Randy Rogers and Bri Bagwell, and Abilene-based Aaron Watson, among others.
Her debut single, Wine Won t Work, currently is No. 6 and moving up the Texas Regional Radio Report and No. 10 on the Texas Country Music Chart two slots ahead of I Hope I m Holding You by Outlaws & Legends festival founder and band leader Mark Powell on both charts.
