Mitchell s Carnegie Resource Center focuses on accessibility with new lift

Mitchell’s Carnegie Resource Center is installing a wheelchair lift as one improvement in a swathe of building and accessibility projects over the past year and a half.
The building, open to the public six days a week, is home to the Mitchell Area Historical Society and the Mitchell Area Genealogical Society, and holds many historical documents, artifacts and other art pieces, including nine Oscar Howe pieces and a Howe mural on the building’s dome.
Corn Palace Stampede Rodeo holds same core values after 50 years
