MIT professors Admir Mašić and Vladimir Bulović are undertaking a research collaboration with DANAT, the Bahrain Institute for Pearls and Gemstones. Using the facilities at MIT.nano, the researchers will develop new materials characterization tools and technologies to assign unique identifiers to individual pearls.
