Mississinewa Community Schools and the Grant County Special Education Cooperative partnered for the purchase of a Food Truck. The Food truck will be used by the Grant County Special Education Cooperative students enrolled in the Impact program at IWU for a vocational pathway. The Impact program consists of students that have graduated from a high school in Grant County. These students, ranging in age from 18-22, still have access to public education through their 22nd birthday
Mississinewa Community Schools will use the food truck for summer meal programs, Boomerang Backpack and Farm to Family programs, community engagement and emergency feeding.
