Tehran has been threatening to retaliate for a deadly air strike on an iranian diplomatic compound in syria. Daniel hagari the Israeli Military spokesman said dozens of israeli planes were patrolling the sky and israel was prepared very strongly in case of an attack from iran. Translation of the Home Front Command is publishing an update and adjustment in the Defence Policy in these minutes, as of tomorrow morning and during the next few days the educational systems, camps and planned trips will not take place. At six oclock in the morning we will update the directive again, starting tonight and in the coming days no educational activities including overnight stays in parking lots and excursions are allowed. In the last few minutes the israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, has said his country is prepared for a direct attack from iran. In an an address to the nation, he said Defence Systems were deployed and the armed forces were ready to respond in kind. Hes advised israelis to
Urgently to the white house. He is having a meeting there. We think round about now with his National Security team. And we know they are in close coordination and contact with the israelis. Mr biden cut short his weekend away, he was meant to spend a weekend at his Beach Residence in delaware. But he came back to washington for these urgent meetings. Now, us forces in the region are also on alert. The Military Presence there has been bolstered significantly since october 7th last year and we know that there are Fighter Planes there, us Fighter Planes and naval assets in the region and our partner here in the region and our partner here in the region and our partner here in the us, cbs news, are reporting saying those forces are ready to assist the israelis if they need it to shoot down any missiles for example that might threaten their territory. But i think this is a sensitive time, especially bearing in mind the recent disagreements between the us and israel over the war in gaza. Mr
Missiles into israeli territory, then they sound off the sirens and that will instruct ordinary civilians to take cover, either run to the protected rooms, or Bomb Shelters or other places. And so radars and satellites and all these very sophisticated equipment are monitoring as we speak the movement and progress of these incoming drones and uavs or perhaps missiles or aircraft that are on their way. So there is enough time for israelis to prepare in anticipation of such an attack. Once it enters israeli territory, then the drill is to run into protected spaces, areas, so as to be protected during such an attack. But its not even clear at this point whether all these incoming drones will arrive into israeli territory. They may be intercepted on the way. So there is still time to look at this and see. Do you think that iran know that . They know there are so many possible points along the journey to israel in which these drones will be shut down. Do you think this is just to be seen to
Argument that this is such a compelling interest. Right. But let me try to walk through this carefully, because i do think its important. Theyve identified three. First is grandfathered plans. Weve had a lengthy discussion about that. I dont think you can argue that that exemption undermines the governments compelling interests. They claim that theres an exemption for employers who have fewer than 50 employees, but thats just wrong. In fact, theres no reason to think that virtually anybody in that category of employees of those small employers isnt getting contraceptive coverage as part of their regular health care from regular doctors. Let me explain why that is. There is no exemption from the contraceptive coverage requirement for that group. Proof of it is that several petitioners are in that group of fewer than 50 employees. And theyre asking for the and theyre asking for and theyve raised the rfra claim here, they have to meet the contraceptive coverage so the employees get the co
For the young person giving them, but also give wonderful new contacts for us as we represent the United States abroad. So thats something i have observed and something i hope to continue in tajikistan, if confirmed. Thank you very much, mr. Chairman. Thank you, senator. Im going to wrap up in a minute. Before i do, i want one other line of questioning for you, mr. Warden. If youre uncomfortable in going down this road, please say so and we can pursue it in a different setting. You talked about the i think its fairly well accepted by the International Community, that the assad regime used chemicals, even after they said they wouldnt and even after they joined the cwc and made all of the commitments. They have a partner today, russia. What role does russia play in the organization and, you know, when youre standing on this side of it, these things are stunning because if the United States was involved with a partner that was doing this sort of thing and we would wash our hands of it ver
