Flareups. It took an hour and a half to get the fire under control. It broke out around midnight in a vacant building with flames shooting out of the roof and neighbors across the street had to be evacuated. There was a large fire at the same building last john. January. Firefighters are suspicious that squatters may have been staying inside and set off a heat source. We had a hard time getting into the build because of the doors barred up and the windows were boarded up from the previous fire so we had to cut our way in. The stairway was filled with debris and we could not make it to the interior stairway so we had to climb the fire escape.
