The Archaeological Survey of India has renovated the Jantar Mantar observatory in New Delhi, including a new entrance, gate, facade, and interpretation centre. The centre will provide visitors with information about the history and functioning of the instruments at the observatory. The instruments themselves will also be given a facelift. The ASI has also repurposed colonial barracks at the site as booking counters and plans to establish visitor facilities such as a baby-care room. The observatory will be illuminated next month. | Latest News Delhi
