MUSE Group to resume | News, Sports, Jobs

Feb 12, 2021 EAST LIVERPOOL MUSE Group will resume on February 16 at 6:30 p.m. at the Museum of Ceramics. MUSE is a reading and discussion group that meets on the third Tuesday of the month and is free and open to all. Participants discuss the current book and other books that they are reading. February’s book is Promise by Minrose Gwin. On Palm Sunday, 1936 a massive funnel cloud destroyed the cotton-mill town of Tupelo, Mississippi and killed over 200 people. But that number includes only the number of whites who died…the African American community was not counted. Promise recounts that fateful time and the people who endured it. Colleen McCoy is the discussion leader.
