John L. “Larry” Savage, Jr., 70, of Weirton, WV, passed away Friday, December 18, 2020, from complications of COVID 19.
John Lawrence was born on June 15, 1950, the firstborn of five children born to John and Mary (Timcho) Savage, Sr.
Larry “Sav,” as he was known to his family and friends, graduated from Mingo High School and furthered his education at Kent State University.
On April 26, 1980, he married Deborah Donnelly, and in their 40 years of marriage, they were blessed with two children and four grandchildren.
Larry worked in the BOP of Weirton Steel, and Debbie cared for their home. Together they ran “Weir Country” craft business for 13 years. Following retirement, he was the co-owner of the West Street Cafe.
