Queen's University campus recreated in Minecraft

KINGSTON Prospective Queen’s University students have gotten a chance to tour the Queen’s University campus in a unique way, after the school’s engineering students built the campus in a video game. Minecraft is a game that allows users to get creative and build a world and interact with others, in a game that looks similar to Lego. Cooper Harasyn is a fourth-year engineering student and one of the founders of the campus Minecraft Club ‘QUCraft’. After COVID-19 closed the campus to all in-person learning last year, Harasyn says he and his engineering friends decided to take on the project.
