Two Men and a Truck pair up with charities for women
MILWAUKEE (WDJT) Two Men and a Truck Milwaukee owner Tim Lightner and Milwaukee Women’s Center manager Shamika May joined CBS 58 to talk about a new initiative.
The initiative is called Movers for Moms and this year is aiming to collect essential care and comfort items for women in need.
Other Two Men and Truck locations are pairing up with other charities across Wisconsin.
In 2019, Movers for Moms collected more than 383,000 essential items, which were distributed to hundreds of shelters for Mother’s Day.

A 29-year-old pregnant woman was doused in rubbing alcohol and set on fire by her boyfriend on Milwaukee’s west side Sunday, according to charges filed Thursday.
Quinterrius L. Jones, 32, of Milwaukee, has been charged with attempted first-degree intentional homicide, first-degree reckless injury to an unborn child and attempted arson.
The victim suffered burns on 50% to 60% of her body, with her face, chest, arms, thighs and abdomen suffering third-degree burns, leaving her in critical condition, according to the criminal complaint.
Court records do not indicate how many months pregnant the woman is, nor the extent of injury the unborn child may have suffered.
