The Iowa Department of Natural Resources is identifying the five people injured after a boat slammed into a pillar of the Mile Long Bridge at Saylorville Lake.
A boat driven by 38-year old Steven Starrett of Pleasant Hill hit the Mile Long Bridge just after 6 p.m. on Monday.
The crash caused the boat to capsize on the lake. All five people were rescued and taken to the hospital for minor injuries. The four passengers were:
Thorne Glasgow, 30, Indianola
The Iowa DNR Law Enforcement Bureau is investigating a boat crash that left five people injured after it crashed into a pillar of the Mile Long Bridge at Saylorville Lake on Monday. Two Warren County residents were involved in the crash. The owner and operator of the boat was Steven Starrett, 38, of Pleasant Hill. The four passengers on the boat that were injured were:
